Today was the first time in a few months I even had the opportunity to look at my Gen III because it's been locked up in the shed since Mid-November. I was pleasantly surprised she started right up after sitting for almost 4 months without being hooked up to a trickle charger. Next week looks favorable for a ride so hopefully I'm able to take bike for a spin.

I finally after about 3 months took my 2023 out for a short spin of about 60 or 70 miles. We had a brutal winter with too much snow and to many consecutive days with highs in the twenties and the few days when it was warm enough to ride there was still to much salt residue on the road. I really enjoyed my ride today and remembered just how much fun I have riding my Gen III. Picture was taken at Washington Crossing State Park

Ordered the frame sliders, handlebar ends and fork protectors. All from R&G.
They had a 10% discount applied today and I found a code for an additional 10%.
The new fairings will be here Monday so I can get all this done in one go.
The fairings arrived Monday. They look great.
The R & G bits arrived today so the work starts tomorrow evening.
Have the Busa looking superb again soon.

Did a lot of work on the Busa this afternoon. It’s almost back together. Frame sliders installed, just need to be torqued down.
Another hour should see it done, but it was getting cold. It’s in need of a good clean. I might have time tomorrow morning to get it finished.

More useful than any of those three might be the stator cover. Wish I'd put one on before I dropped it (Twice. The first time my brain farted and I thought I had dropped the kickstand but hadn't, the second I bumped the back of the bike in close quarters, with an aftermarket kickstand, AND a slight downhill grade. Really dumb). Too bad they don't make one for the clutch cover:

They make for the clutch as well... EC-GSX1300R-2021-2-GBR GB RACING CLUTCH COVER PROTECTION SUZUKI GSX 1300 R HAYABUSA 2021-2025

I have both stator and clutch full covers on mine.
