I get that too, and know of several similiar situations.
But, I am fortunate to still have a few long time friends, and we have been driving each others vehicles and riding each other's motorcycles for decades now.
As you know the '18 Gsxr1000R I have isn't even mine, yet I've kept it, do all the work, and ridden it as my own since it was new(as he drives a truck for a living and has a wife and kids too, and he knows that I'll keep it up and have it ready for him whenever he wants it, he just shows up, rides away, and brings it back when he's done).
A few years ago when I hit a deer on it, doing about $3400 in mostly cosmetic damage, he could've cared less about the bike, and must have asked me a hundred times if I was sure that I was ok.
He said, don't worry about it, I'll get the parts to fix it soon.
To which I laughed...and I started ordering everthing that it needed, and had it fixed shortly after...and in the new color fairings that he wanted anyway, lol
Whenever one of us gets a new bike, we have to take it and let the rest of us try it too, and if we want to borrow one, it's simply a "when are you coming?"
It's always worked great, and we have gotten to ride alot of bikes that we otherwise would not have had the chance to.
I get that and it's a special bond and trust to have.......you are lucky to have that.....

Something I learned a long time ago is to never lend anything out.
I never loan my car out to anyone, did it once for a friend I trusted but there's to much liability when you loan a vehicle out to someone. I would never loan any of my bikes out to anyone, I once switched bikes with a Army buddy for a few miles but other than that no one but me has ever ridden any of my bikes.

I get that too, but when you grow up with people, see how they treat others, again and again, and that some have really good morals and values, you learn who you can truly trust...and who to avoid...
I will let someone else ride my bikes that I don't really know well sometimes too, swap with them for their bike for a short ride...but I have to ride with them for a little while and see if they can actually ride or not.
Sometimes it doesn't take long either, you talk, see what they know, see how they ride, and say yeah, no problem...or no way no how, lol

I have also had offers to ride other people's bikes, nice bikes, that I'de really like to ride...but turn them down.
As I don't want the blame for anything going wrong after I get off of it, or I don't want to be the one to put a scratch on it either...
This is exactly why I don't ride other peoples bikes because I don't want to be responsible for any damage or accused of damaging it.

That's great that you had riding buddies that you trusted with your bike and they trusted you.

Cool!
And I love my HF manual lift table.
I put my Baxley wheel chock on it and take it off it as needed.
I have the front crossbar on the chock across the front of the table, and one bolt through the center of the rear cross bar on the chock...and it's rock solid.
I roll the table around with bikes on it and they don't move at all.

I may have to do the same, the "chock" that came with it is a Rube Goldberg Special. I also had to swap out the front casters for larger 2" steel casters and swap out the rear with larger Poly wheels which make moving it around on the concrete floor much easier by myself because it would get hung up on any small imperfection/piece of debris and skid or not move at all.
