So I finally got around to getting my first service done on my 2023, then took the long way home from the dealership. I'm finding I really enjoy riding my Busa, just sorry I wasn't able to get more riding in this season.

Brought the new 2024 Busa home yesterday. Today installed swing arm spools, radiator/oil cooler guards, and a 45 tooth rear sprocket. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD… Getting the rear wheel back on with the rear caliper is a pain in the ass.

Still a fun day in the garage with a new weapon!

I had the recall done for the master cylinder, took about 2 hours from the time I dropped it off until the time it was done and then I took the scenic route home. It was a bit chilly, brisk and windy today but still an enjoyable 100 miles from start to finish and there's not much riding season left here in PA so have to squeeze in as many rides as possible before the weather forces me to park the bike until spring. Heated grips would have been nice this morning because it was 48 degrees when I left home on my way to the dealership.

Get a good pair of heated gloves...you'll never think about heated grips again.
And a pair with a thermostat is ideal.

I'm a fair weather rider so while heated gloves is a great idea I wouldn't get much use out of them since I don't ride under about 50-55 degrees and at those temps I don't think I would need heated gloves.

I'm a member of C.A.R. (candy assed riders) and it if isn't comfortable enough to enjoy it, I don't ride...

If my hands are too cold to ride, I figure the pavement is too cold to make my tires stick....

oil change.jpg

Did the third oil change in 4,500 miles (I'm over protective lol) also cleaned and lubed the chain. The chain was nasty but my new Motion Pro chain brush made that job too easy. I've been riding 28 years and I just now bought a chain brush lol
