Certainly does change the look quite a bit......I don't know what Suzuki was thinking by putting chrome on a sport bike.....
Me either! I’m not sure why manufacturers think chrome is an upgrade! My Tacoma came with chrome bumper end caps, chrome rings on cup holders and AC vents, as well as, chrome door handles inside. Thankfully the aftermarket has options to change all this so those were my first mods after I drove the truck off the lot.

I feel that, my Ram has a little bit of chrome inside but I'm too lazy to change it.....

My wife's Edge has no chrome at all.....I like that look.....

If I get one and install it, do you think it will mess with the Moore Mafia fuel map?
I have one example of asking a tuner this question. I spoke with Nate from 2WDW when I installed the Yoshi 3/4 exhaust on my old FZ10. I was LOUD way louder than I wanted. Since they did my ECU flash I asked about installing the Db killer in the can. He said not to. Nate said every time they would dyno a bike with a tune and aftermarket exhaust with the Db killer installed it made stock or less power and did mess with the AFRs. If you think about it it makes sense. you're really restricting the exhaust flow which is what quiets down the exhaust.

2WDW seems to really know what they are doing...but only getting stock hp...just from an insert..I have a hard time beliving that.
Does it effect hp and A/F?
It would have to, but not to an extreme like that.
I have seen several bikes dyno'd without the decibel killer, then have it installed, run again...and lose 2hp.
I also run the inserts in All my aftermarket exhausts, and the seat of the pants dyno says it's no different at all...just noticeably quieter.

It's anecdotal I know. That may have just been specific to the CP4 engine but I can't say for sure.

Moore Mafia seems to have had good results tuning their 2025 bike...

Hmmmm...Bone Stock...with just a full exhaust?
Bone stock? What about those Core-Moto wheels, that you know have ceramic bearings, and that 520 chain conversion with aluminum rear sprocket?
Are they suddenly worth zero hp on the dyno?
Come on Moore Mafia, that's some bs right there, especially when his claims are a 520 is 2whp, ceramic bearings 2 hp, and even more for the wheels.
So the gains are no better than previous years, and his 'stock' run looks as bad.
Apparently a different ecu in the same bike.
I wonder if it will continue to have all the other Gen3 problems too?

I remember they used to Dymo bikes in 3rd gear usually because it was a 1:1 or close enough ratio so there's no mechanical advantage that can skew the numbers. He dynos everything in 5th or 6th gear. Shouldn't that make the numbers read higher?

If that were true; then how would you ever get an increase in rear wheel horsepower/torque on the dyno by having less rotating mass from a lighter rear wheel/rotating assembly?
And, the rear tire itself makes a measurable difference, not only in height(gearing, hp/trq moves up or down in the rpms), or weight, along with the subject at hand, but tire grip itself, based on how sticky the tire is, based on tire compound and it's condition.
You can gain or lose hp/trq based on grip vs wheelspin, overall drag on the dyno.
There are alot of variables.
But it just goes back to my original question, as one minute the lighter rear wheel with ceramic bearings, chain and sprockets, make a noticeable dyno gain, and the next, this is a "stock bike, with just an exhaust, making more hp/trq than he's seen before".
It can't be both ways.
Regardless, a dyno is a way to tune air/fuel and smooth power curves.
Hp/trq numbers will vary based on alot of conditions, and should not be taken that seriously.
You can lose or gain a few hp in the same day, just based on air temperature alone.
Moore Mafia makes some decent tunes, but their dyno numbers are not the final say in what any bike's engine can do.

Oh I completely agree with you. Calling a bike bone stock except for a set of $4000 wheels and a $700 set of wheel bearings is dishonest at best. Reducing rolling resistance will absolutely show higher HP/TQ numbers. Not a lot but he's making 2-3HP comparisons of this bike vs the 2024. I don't dislike the guy prese I also don't care for misleading people especially for money making purposes.

I've noticed a lot of drag racers refer to the engine being bone stock, not the rest of the bike...

Other drag racing videos I've seen where the bike is clearly modified for drag racing refer to them being bone stock...

I think our interpretation of bone stock and theirs is different.....?

I agree with that, but in this case, Chris Moore is Always pointing out wheels, ceramic bearings, and here lately he's finally got on board with 520 chain conversions.
He touts the gains that these parts make, as they do work...and he sells them...and he also sells new Suzukis.
Maybe he just overlooked it, as in no way does he seem to be a dishonest person, but those mods seem to coinside with the extra hp that the '25 Busa mysteriously seemed to have.
