We can all chip in and order you some kanji emblems for the side fairings if you like.

There is a little part of my Busa that still lives on it. I took off the square front reflector and put my old Busa round one on. Hmmm think I can be a poser if I put on the kanji emblems?

No way, see you could never be a poser because you had a Busa or 2....posers are individuals who try to convince others they possess things that they can’t actually obtain most of the time.
You would simply be paying tribute to your roots.

Besides the violation of reflector etiquette (they should all be removed) that's a cool idea!

Made some bushings for new plate mount setup. It is adjustable so I can mount horizontal or vertical. I prefer the vertical and I’ll deal with the occasional backlash because I love how tidy it looks.
Mounted the thermosensor for the fans in the bypass and cut the hose to fit the gen 2 radiator better.
Checking clearances for the reservoir....may have to use the gen 1

More titanium. I robbed these Handlebar bolts a year plus ago for another project.
Finally replaced them back to Ti.
43 gram / 1.5 OZ

It is EuroBikes undertail and I modified what used to be the plate lamp with a strip of RGB LED's
I installed a relay to flip flop ground from the red to the blue of the RGB strip. When the blue glow on the bike is turned off the light is an additional running light. When the blue glow on the bike is turned on, the light changes to blue.

I also have 2 flush mounted amber smoked lights that i will be installing into the holes where the license plate used to mount for more visability.

I like the tapered conical head bolts Bryan. I have been thinking of changing my pinch bolts to those style. Looks good!!

Just rode RJ today. Then went to a friend of mine. He said I wasn't out riding and parked RJ @ his driveway for a picture

I installed 1" black anodized, CNC machined, Billet T6 aluminum mirror extenders on the Busa today to give me a better view of what's behind me. Great price - $29.90 delivered:


These extenders have a great finish and are high quality. It comes with two lengths of bolts. the longer ones fit the Gen 1:

After removing the mirrors, the spacers fit like they were a part of the bike:

The mirror with the rubber gasket fits on the other end of the spacer:

The rubber gasket provides the gap necessary for the rubber sheath to fit nicely against the extender:

It took about 10 min to install both extenders.

I haven't had a chance to try them out yet but from just sitting on the bike, I can already tell the rear view is much better.

Where did you buy these at? Can I find them on Amazon? I been looking but no luck yet.

It's in the works: a used set of R77s from a forum member, but I've also been blessed with a great deal on a TiForce Ti 4-2-1 header, at which point I'll probably fork over more hard earned cash for a new single. Someone here recently suggested the English translation of Hayabusa was 'Empty Pockets'. I would happily agree.
