Hey, another question. What's the difference between using kerosene and WD40 to clean?

But I think the most important thing you use is the type of brush..

The wrong one may damage the chain...

Kerosene and a tooth brush. I put Kerosene into a spray bottle and spray the chain 10 links at a time...I scrub a dub dub and then spray the area with kerosene again...rinsing off all debris, dirt, oil and grease. The chain shines marvelously. I then take if for a spin to heat the chain and then lube it while hot.

Then I floss the chain....

kerosene and a medium wire brush.
Would not be too sure about using the wire brush....

For fear of damaging the rubber rings in between the links..
Boy you really must plan to saw on that chain if you're worried about getting brisells in deep enough to hurt the Orings.......done it for years.....never a problem...But then again...after the stock chain is gone. I don't run O ring chains.

Simple Green of all things works real well, smells good + won't damage the o-rings.
