I saw online yesterday  where the top end speed on the Z06 is 198 mph.  Take the limiter off the busa and busa wins.  1/4 mile time isn't close if the rider knows what he is doing.  A stock busa runs low 10s to high 9s, Z06 according to the article runs around 11.9 - 12.10

take the limiter off a Busa and it still won't hit 198 or even remotely close to it.

A 100% stock busa tops out in the mid 180's. 182-186mph UNRESTRICTED with a good rider in STILL AIR conditions.


The stories you hear of 190+mph stock busas are done with 140 pound riders with monster tailwinds... hardly what I'd call the "standard".


In short, if given the room to play, a stock Z06 will eventually reel in and pass a stock busa. Low speed roll-on's from like 80-160mph the Busa is quicker... just just make sure you don't have a 2 mile stretch of open road or you're in trouble. These 500+hp 3100lb cars ain't no joke at high speeds.
