40 to 50....

I try to work around 50 so that I can add the OT to my "slush fund". Anything that is over and above 40 hrs a week is mine and all mine!

Now that I am engineering, I work a even 40 with occasional overtime due to storm conditions. But when I worked on a line crew, I have worked as many as 120hrs a week. I have free time now!

Mine changes from contract to contract

Right now I do about 16 hrs of work in a 40hr work week. No over time allowed...

I've learned not to go nuts on a job. Did that already working 7 days straight 14-16hrs per day for three months straight. I ended up with exhaustion and was sick for 2 weeks. The money was great but not worth the life I had. Quality of life always needs to be balanced into things if you can. No job is worth stroking out over AAAssjani.gif
