What Did You Do To Your Busa, Today?

Don’t know how effective it will be but hey it can’t hurt.

If you were gonna cover up that buitful cover should of left it stock.
Lol you’d too funny oh and thanks for calling my cover beautiful. Well to be honest that is my stock cover....my bike was wrecked and the stator cover sustained some damage so I repaired it and was going to powder coat it gloss black but then thought what the hell and went extreme blue for all the engine casing covers. No one will ever ride my bike again but me but I am hoping in the unlikely event of a low side of some sort maybe I won’t have to weld and powder coat my stator cover again.

Finally(!) got my RAM mount for the RD installed. The Ball kit came with three bolts, none of them long enough. I bought a longer M8-1.25x70mm bolt at the Hardware store, still not enough. Had my kid go to the same store later and get me a M8-1.25x80mm (or so I thought). The kid at the store sold her the same damn 70mm bolt I had already bought. Store was closed on Sunday so I had to wait til Monday to get the right damn bolt (sheesh). Anyway done and dusted!

LSS this magnetic mount is awesome! I have my old Cobra Detector on there at the moment. Just had to take my almost New Escort MAX2 back to Costco cause it died! The new Escort IX I picked up, I think I like better than the MAX2 that got smoked! Well see. Anyway the mount is super cool, you just give it a twist and the detector pops right off. Otherwise it aint going anywhere! Powering it from a cig lighter I installed in my Tank Bag to power (link) just about anything I will need. I carry a Dynaplug 12v inflator kit and the pigtail to my Tankbag can be used to power it or as an alternative to the other battery tender lead I have on the side of the bike already!

Had to fix a fuel line. When I did my fuel system i used cinch clamp rings. And the barb fitting is cheep cast. The fuel line fell off driving down the interstate the other day. I’m putting a hose clamp on it for now I got maybe a few more weeks of riding. Focus is turning to deer hunting already. Debating on redoing the entire fuel system with braided lines and AN fittings. Any thoughts?

Redoing my fuel lines yesterday and today as well.
I should call my tech to see if he already started replacing. If he didnt might as well do it once with braided lines

Was going to buy a cover for the Busa but remembered I had an extra in my storage room.
The kicker is I bought this cover in 1988 to cover my 750 Gixxer...I have used it to cover several bikes over the year and it fits the Busa. I sure got my money's worth from this cover...
