I took a turn to hot found some gravel, and my front end
slid out, I know it was all my fault !!!!!! wasn't going that fast, just to FAST !!!! Once I was on the gravel I paniced, and came out of my lean, then when I tried to go back into it the front washed out !!


does anyone know how much a new side, and front fairing, and the frame that holds the intstrament cluster, and stearing dampaner would run ?

man this sucks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel like a total AZ HOLE !!!!!!!!!!
 
Damn bad luck dude! Start checking the ebay and craigslist ads! Too bad! Some sliders might have helped it sounds like. My put-down was something close to yours and sliders did their job nicely! Sorry about the bad luck!
 
How about you? Are you O.K.? Any rash or broken bones?
 
I'm fine, fingers hurt, but he11, I'll heel !!!!! it's my bike that needs the hospital !!!!! I hit my head HARD !! Thank god for GEAR !!!!

AND IT WAS THIS PLACE THAT CONVINCED ME TO GET IT, AND WEAR IT
 
Sorry to hear...  which side of the bike do you need?  I've been searching ebay for a right side for a while - they have 2 right now... the one in SC only has minor scratches....

Mistakes are to be recognized as a "good thing" when you use them and a learning tool. If you don't learn from the mistake,, you end up full circle back into the same and repeat the process. And that would be, as you say, "dumb!"

Things could have been worse. Parts are cheap. Human body parts and lives are not.

I'm glad you are alright.

You can walk and talk, that is important part. Take it easy on yourself. Almost everyone been there or going to be.

Don't beat yourself up Kenny..... Just remember there are
two kinds of motorcycle riders:

1- Those who have been in an accident.....
2- Those who are going to be in a accident........

As long as you learn from the incident you'll be alright.
You can fix your bike. And good for you on the gear......

Glad you were able to walk away and your alright.......
