For under $400 I might just pull the trigger.

im wearing a shoe rf1400 and have 1200, 1100 for spares. i like the 1400 added wind noise protection. does make it a little tighter to take off vs my other 2 shoei helmets but the added material around the jaw line seals out more wind and brocks exh noise.

Oh, the good thing about the 1200, (which I have the ROTW version), is that it takes any form of comms easy. Whereas the 1400 is designed for the shoei/sena relationship. One of the reasons I got rid of my neotec2.

I don't know, but this is the current Shoei RF1400, my gf bought it new a month or 2 ago, it's the gloss black.
The flat black one is my RF1200, and is about 2 years old.
The 14 is heavier, a different shaped shell, has good ventilation, but not as good as the 12's.
The 14 has a center shield lift point, with a lock with a pushbutton.
The 12's shield lift tab is on the left.
Shields do not interchange, but both are pinlocks.

Probably like Rest of the World, the 1400 is sold here as the nxr2.

Same as the 1200 was sold as the nxr.

Same helmet design, just with different certifications for local marketa

looks a good helmet i think Sena do an integrated intercoms all mounted internally
