Too many LEO's where I live, and to too much traffic. Hit 100 once for about 1 second and was happy no cop hiding in the bushes.

maaahn...blanca is correct....here in south florida?...the primary reason i sold my FZ1 was not only for the gobs of more power the busa had but...for the wind protection of a full fairing..and the busa is as stable as the disney monorail even in the high triple digits...miles upon miles of dead flat inland/wetland swamps and cowfields where one can see for miles upon miles and you can't buy a curve or even so much as a spot to pull off the road?...the land of infamouse roads the likes of...

150 is where it starts getting interesting ... your periferal vision can't compensate fast enough and you get Star Trek warp drive tracers :)
I think I have hit about 170 on the 'Busa ... no GPS , but the speedo was in the high 180s .

When I did my top speed ( 55 mph ) I was amazed at how smooth the ride was and how little effort it took to ride the bike. She stood straight up and was smooth as silk. Now Im not sure I would have wanted to turn at that speed.

Thanks for the smile.

I have never been over 150 ----- Today:laugh:

I used to keep a calender and post all the days I went over 100 mph to work, I stopped when all the days were filled.
