ok everyone, Im sorry its taken me so long to post up on this but I thought I already had, stupid me. I just read all 8 pages and didnt see a post with my name on so hear I am.

I AM GOIN!!!! 100% no doubt about it. I roomin with Bren, and Ill be there either tuesday or wedsday of the week before and will be leaving the following monday if all goes as planed. I cant wait!!!

If anybody from the south needs a trailor to get there bike out to the event let me know and Ill see what I can do. I have a 16 foot car hauler I can hook up too. Will hold about 6 to 8 bikes counting what I can get in the bed of the truck. The only catch, I will need money for gas (mileage sucks with a trailor) and I can only get three other people in the cab of the truck or at least thats all I want in the cab. I dont want to be totaly uncomfortable the hole way to cali and back.


So like I said, IM IN ALL THE WAY!!!

Been waiting to here from you! Others said you were in, so you are on the list, but I wasn't sure. Send me your e-mail address and I will send you the spreadsheet. I think your trailor offer is awesome. If I lived in the South, I would consider having you tow my bike, and I would fly....food for thought.

QUSETION...Did you make a reservation for the place that you stayed mid-trip, or did you just stop somewhere?

will make reservations in Crescent City, how this look for plans will try to keep them the same as we did last year.

july 9 departure ---hwy 101 to Crescent City
july 10 --------Crescent City to Salinas
july 11 thru 13 ----check out the races
july 13 departure
after the races make it Redding for the night
july 14------- Redding to PDX

This looks good, but I have a couple of issues that could affect my plans...not necessarily the group's.

1. Lobusa will be planning some very nice rides for that entire week. It might be nice to get there one day earlier so we can participate with minimal impact to race watching and such. Just thinking about it at this point.

2. My friend from Chicago is more than likely going to Laguna. If he ships his bike to Portland, it will all be good. But he is working on a hook-up that would allow him to ship his bike to Oakland for $100 round trip. If he does that, i will need to hook up with him in Oakland.

3. I said that I would at least consider riding back part way with Swans group. I can't make a call on this till I see their itenerary and schedule. Again, just a possibility.

It looks like everyone will be there by Thursday the 10th. I think that we should all get together Thursday evening for a picnic, dinner, or some other activity to meet everyone. Any ideas?

Dude...multiple new windscreens, chromed wheels etc. Spring for the $58 rooms at Goodnight Inn. 3-4 nights = ~$260. I wouldn't mind sharing at the midpoints, but want my own room at the final destination.

HINT...make a reservation now. By the time May or June rolls around, everything will be sold out, and people will be asking YOU to share. Also, you can always cancel and they don't charge you now.

Elton and I rolled up to Road America Races probably 7 years in a row. We usually had 5-8 guys. The first year we camped out...fun but cold at night and not enough flexibility and comfort.

And...we never shared a room. We have had connecting rooms, but we just like to spread out if you know what I mean. I already booked a room for him, which I will give away or cancel if he doesn't make it.

Havoc, your plan to book several rooms is smart. As a group, we should book extra rooms to cover those that will decide to come in the coming months. At a minimum, we should all book our own rooms. If anyone needs me to book a room for them, give me a shout by PM and we can talk about it.
