the other day was riding with some newbies and demonstrating the NO HANDE STOP.
one of them asked me "do you have your steering tightened up or something?"

click into neutral 'round 30mpg
pull up usin rear brake
slide left foot a little at the stop
keep perfectly strait up

i used to do it with my gf on the back
did it on an old zx6 that didnt have a damper

as long as its a really smooth street its about the safest "trick" you can do

most ppl wont even try

Oh, it'll happen. Go to the well one to many times... and it'll happen.

But I'd be impressed with a no-handed stoppie instead of a stop. HAHA! That'd be something to see right there.

I've seen guys sit backwards and do stoppies, and that's pretty sick stuff! And stoppies while sitting on the bars... that's also pretty rad.
 
Tried it a couple of times but started wobbling and then I chickened out.

I'll give it another shot. The value of the trick is in learning how to balance the bike.
