Leather Care (revisited)

I use regular ole Boot Oil from my local Redwing Shoe Store and it works great for me. May be something better out there but the boot oil seems to give me good results on my leathers as well as my work boots! :beerchug:

I put leatherique in it last night (just happened to have some); it's down stairs drying out right now so I'll keep my fingers crossed!

ive used everything, neatsfoot oil = nasty smellin crud but it works good. mink oil is good stuff. anymore i use a damp dishsoapy rag to wipe down and followed by clean damp rag to wipe off any soap, then smooth leathers get a smear of boot dubbing along seams an elbows, polish scuff spots with colored polish, and buff with dry cloth.

for dried cracking leather...i once saved an ol set of saddle bags, dried and breaking, with olive oil.

have a set of shotgun chaps ive used sense highschool rodeo, all ive ever done to them, is spray them with liquid silicone waterproof spray once a year.

well for what its worth....there ya go.:beerchug:
