1-4 gear retarded ignition removed , rev limit increased, fan temp lowered. Im considering having the aforementioned altered on the ecu on my Gen 2 2012 by a local dyno tuner is there anything else that i should want on a need basis the bike has aftermarket cans and a filter and runs fine iv felt a immediate gain in lower end power removing the oem cans so already i am pleasantly surprised
TO those who have had the retarded ignition changed how different is it to ride? im not getting the wheel off the ground in 2nd gear on full gas at the moment does i give a different power curve or i could just change the gearing? 16t on the front or go up 2t-3t on the rear

I did flash , I'm very pleased with it .I also did +3 on rear sprocket. Both mods are worth it . You wont be disappointed.

Basic flashes are a good starting point. Coordinating a flash with a dyno is very efficient, providing you have a tuner who knows how to do flash-tunes. Like a custom map for your current bike setup. But then you're locked in, to some extent, and further mods could require another trip to the dyno. Do you have lots of money?

[EDIT] if you're talking about just the above switches to your ECM, and you're not sure about the competency of your tuner, you can unplug the ECM and mail it to a Busa specialist. There are a couple of them here on this forum. See forum: SPONSORS

[EDIT #2] My bad, I just saw you're in NZ, so maybe mailing isn't the same option it is for us 'Staties'

I only rode it once after sprocket change . Cold weather here . It was a nice change , not to aggressive like a stunt bike . It comes up easy in 2nd .
