I'll be 60 in July. I've had my share of ups and downs with relationships. You and your wife must be best friends above all else. If you're arguing now and there are serious trust issues, you ain't seen nothing yet if you get married. You know what you need to do. If you don't move on you're going to be miserable for a long time. There will be some short term heart break, but if you stay in a relationship thats going now where for a long time, you're only hurting yourself. Good luck, just my two cents.

You obviously know at this point you made the right choice........A girl who just got engaged, WOULD NOT ditch her brand new fiance' the very next night to out gambling with girlfriends. Also, the text she got that night on your way home from friends prompting her to go clubbing was probably her GF's telling her some guy she was hot for was there. And no worthwhile girl would have the complete lack of tact as to text you that she was pregnant.

This chick was obviously either crazy, or a playah, or both!! Glad you got away from her before entering a lifetime of regret!!!

Honestly, to me she sounds like someone who is acting like they are feeling smothered. If getting engaged is making her feel smoethered then she isnt ready at all for marriage.

I would set her down and talk to her and ask her to be honest, let her know that you love her and if she isnt ready to be engaged it is ok you can call off the engagament and just continue dating until she is ready..


But she sounds to me like she is feeling like a trapped animal. If it were me and I am reading everything correctly, my nature would be to confront her, tell her I didnt think she was ready, ask for her input on it and if she hesitated at all or did not convice me 100% that she was ready, I would ask for the ring back and put the engagement on hold

What he said, sounds like cold feet and the best remedy for this to avoid hard feelings is COMMUNICATION. Let her know if she wants to wait fine, but my thing is why all the hanging out to early in the morning? I have my thoughts bro, but you two need to have a serious heart-to-heart.
