Well, I was able to get out riding again today...
What a surprise.

Anyway, enough scarcasm.

Lee (Wharthog3) and I got a rather late start...stopped by Starbucks in La Mesa, then headed toward the hills. We attempted to meet up with another group, but lack of cell service prevented our rendezvous. I know at one point, we were within mere miles of each other...

Here are some pix, with a surprise at 'the end'. Wait for it...and...Enjoy!

The wildest thing we saw, all day, was this...

She came into the restaurant, ordered her food 'to go', then proceeded to eat it out of the trunk of her car. I laughed 'til I cried...too, too funny.

Anyway, it's another 'scene' in this series "Wildlife in SoCal"

Yeah...it's not all "Hollywood" here...but you couldn't write that shizzle into a script, even if you tried!!!

However, the next couple of pix are decidedly noteworthy...

The beautiful, lush painting which was hanging on the wall of the restaurant has an interesting twist...

First then painting...

Then, Lee points out the disturbing addition...yep...it's a hunter waiting to blast those pesky dinner-birds out of the lake!



Kinda twisted in a refreshing, sordid kinda way...
