Im a union glazier, local 677. A lot of people do not know what my job is unless they are in the trades. People think i make doughnuts when i tell them im a glaizer lol. I work with glass, put in glass walls, skylights, doors, ect the list goes on.

I used to be a glazier too, but we shut that part of the busines down a few years ago and now just do automotive glass. First pic is a prison in Geneva, NY we did, and the 2nd is a co-worker doing a "staged" install on my car for a brochure. Worked with glass since I was 18 years old...

Mother F*er, I am AMMO too! I am stationed at Luke, where you stationed at?

I.Y.A.A.Y.A.S ...unless you got the job you wanted.

Former IYAAYAS here too (was the job I wanted, just grew into something that wasn't as appealing once I had a family). If it weren't so cold out I'd go out to my cave and take a few pics of some of my Ammo plaques....2-Dubya-Oh!!!! Been out 10+ years now.

I now supervise a team of production workers and techs in the labelstock industry now.

I use to run multiple food manufacturing plants for big known brands, until September 2009, when I had to close one down and let 2,000 employees go. Now I am a Process Engineer for a large fortune 100 food manufacturing company, making sure the process equipment for North America, Canada, Mexico, Australia and Germany is used, maintained, installed and operated correctly, satisfying the FDA and USDA.

In short, in some form or another, I feed all of you with safe food products.

I was in manufacturing in one aspect or another (from hourly grunt to project engineer and everything in between) for over 20 years.

I am currently employed as a Corrections Officer with the Illinois Dept of Corrections. Also a part of the Tactical team at my institution. I wish I had done this ten years ago!

I always wanted to be a custom painter, so for years, I did it as a hobby, constantly improving and learning. But in order to eat and survive, I started out at McDonalds in high school, then on to....

Mechanic in the Army,

Army truck driver (488,000 safe miles),

Route salesman for a welding supply company, on to Operations Manager,

(still painting as a hobby),

bartender (2nd job), bar manager (quit my day job), restaurant manager,

body shop manager, (doing payroll one week, I noticed the painter made exactly double what I made, working about half the hours, and I was a better painter than him)

auto painter (saved all my nickels and dimes)

Now I am a custom painter specializing in motorcycles! Remember the A-Team....."I love it when a plan comes together"

I work for the power company here in MI as a System Controller. We monitor the transmission lines and substations for any issues that may arise. It's shift work but that keeps things interesting.
