Yeah, I'de say those were really the originals.
Then we could go nuts and remember there was a BMW boxer racing in SBK against the "originals" in the '80s.....

Yeah, we keep going back, and it's still just as good.
I remember the 2-stroke, and push start races on tv as a kid.
My next door neighbor taking me riding at 5 on his new GS1000(1981-82).
Being at Va beach when I was 10(1987) and seeing all the new bikes crusing and racing around around...memory lane.
I just need this one,
Give it good rear shocks and dirtbike bars.
I bet it would be a blast to rip around.

When I had my triple, carrying extra spark plugs and a wrench was a must....

A friend of mine was looking for a cheap and fun bike last summer, he was thinking older R6, gsxr, just a beater.
Well, he showed up with a Buell Blast...lmao.
A 500cc single, 4-stroke.
He said he rode it, and had to have it.
I laughed...until I rode it.
It has great power(for all it is) and easily cruises at highway speeds.
And I hated to admit just how much fun that little thing is to rip around the country side.
Nothing superbike, but super fun.

Except the H2R isn't street legal...it's like saying a Moto GP bike is the ultimate superbike.....
It is said the Vincent Black Widow was the first superbike.....

Ok so i finally took her for first time on mountains....Oakland hills..... got a quick question...what you guys do when you go downhill? Going uphill is fun in 2nd gear and 3rd... pull is strong and runs like a raped gorilla... but when i am going downhill...i dont know if i should shift...
