A lot of those earlier bikes, the 750-4 the Z900, they were beasts for their era but I wouldn't classify them as "Super Bikes" The 1980 Suzuki GSX 1100 was a beast too but just an extension of those older big sport bikes. No, to my mind the first Superbike was the likes of the 1986 GSX-R 1100. Hyper sports, that was a marketing term, but a superbike it was. The mono shock, box frame, tons of power, 130HP, and relatively light. Well that's just my opinion of course lol. But I'd ridden all those earlier bikes and they were all pretty much the same to my mind. But jumping off a Z1R 1000 onto GSX-R made me feel like my pants were on fire.

countable noun
A motorcycle is a vehicle with two wheels and an engine.
There are car and motorcycle chases and a sprint to climb onto a moving plane.

Sounds like it was written by a redoubtable AI.

(rɪdaʊtəbəl IPA Pronunciation Guide)

adjective [usually ADJECTIVE noun]
If you describe someone as redoubtable, you respect them because they have a very strong character, even though you are slightly afraid of them.

Talk about a rabbit hole

The first 1980 GSX1100 ( GS1100 USA ) 16 VALVE , TWIN SWIRL COMBUSTION CHAMBER , was the first game changer imo , but the bike tech sat stagnant from then till 1984 GPZ900R and then onto even better industry tech hit , the '85 GSX-R 750F . From then on things got interesting . A pic of my blown Gixxer from early 90's .
