Ok....we always hear "the Genii" talking about being a Genii and I think I've stumbled on to the meaning and origin of our friends fame.
I just so happen to like Anne Rice, when I'm in the mood for fiction....and I read Servant of the Bones about a week ago. Well, the main character of the book is a "genii".
This is how I understand the meaning: Of course, genii is the plural of genius or of genie. But the character in the book, Azriel, is an immortal, all knowing, human-souled being. His purpose is to do the bidding of the evil, however he does not. He will only serve the kind hearted. This is by his choice and largely based on the the fact that he is all knowing and the matter of his death.
What gives.......are you guys immortal, or nerds like me?
