I can get 24.9 MPG with my Ram. I consider that not too bad for a truck that must weigh over 4 tons. (3500 turbo diesel).

But I like yer slam,never heard that one before.

I love the new Dodge's. Except for one problem. I don't need a double cab but I need more than a regular single cab. So that has kept my loyal to Ford. Since I don't care for the GM styling. *sigh*. I don't love my Ford truck, but it has done a good job and given me no problems.
