Slaves brought over from Africa were just that, SLAVES. They were brought here AGAINST their will and forced to live here. When they were freed, they paid TAXES among many other things that benefitted this country.
Illegal aliens do NOT pay taxes. Illegal aliens are using gov services that are for citizens who pay taxes.

PS ... I've never been a slave so how can I go "back" to a country I've never been to? I wasn't speaking about slaves, I was speaking about me. ~I~ have been told to go back to Africa on numerous occasions. Many of my black friends who were born here have been told the same. Many of my haitian friends who ARE citizens have been told the same. I'm not talking about slaves, I'm talking about modern day bigotry.

I think the people that have told you to go back to Africa are Bigots. But those of us who feel that illegals, that take from the system and don't pay into the system, shouldn't be here aren't bigots. We just don't want to pay for someone(anyone else) else's free ride.

I would love to see any evidence that supports that claim. A claim that illegal alien's contributions are what is keeping the social security system working. You can't possibly expect anyone to just believe what you said without a shred of evidence...
