I like the look of that tail better than any others I've seen! Awesome job ! Can you show the frame you used

I'm relatively new to the sportbike world so I'm allowed to ask stupid questions right[?], as long as nobody throws a chair at me, LOL. Ok so here we go...is there a reason other than aesthetics, that one would remove the factory tail section from their 'Busa [which I happen to think is an intergal part of the bikes sex appeal] and modify/install a tail from another model? Regardless of my opinion I think the OP is doing a great job of this  and I always admire those who think outside of the box and utilize their own craftmanship to make their thoughts into reality...

=8^)

I guess 'because it's there' I like the hump, it's designed to make the rider part of the streamlining. It makes the bike look funny to me, big in the front and tiny and out of balance in the rear. The work that went to re-engineering the rear sub-frame was amazing though, and the paint job was beautiful.

not for me but two each his own... a busa shud look like a busa and nothn else imo which is why its one of the most recognizable bikes on the planet. its unique and identifiable by anyone who knows bikes. I wudnt want someone lookn at my bike tryn to figure out wat it is exactly.

people looked at it and thought this is a stock busa and this makes me pround because i says i make a factory like job thanks guys

Hello my busa turned 15 so it's time for a makeover : -- black frame + swingarm
-- 459 Flat signal orange fairings and wheels
-- power commander 3 usb some pics
-- fork service
from the work in progress odometer 20500 miles since 1999 i bought the bike in 2008 with 15000 miles

It's the hayabusa seat but i ripped it appart put it upside down pressed with my feet on the plastic and heated it with a heat gun after that a quick test sponge back on new cover for the seat and it s done

finally i sand blasted the frame swing arm rear frame and the wheels now they are powder coated and the assembly started
