No I have not found out who gave it to me yet, hopefully I will get some more presents
but yeah it was pretty bad before, rusty looking and even made a racket in terms of noise. I used some cheap lube before and it helped out. Now I used Chain Guard, yes I said CHAIN GUARD and it took care of the rest. Best stuff on earth. Besure to pick some up at your local parts store. Thats Chain Guard. <span style='font-size:8pt;line-height:100%'>(CUT!..)</span>

That would be my guess...How dirty was your chain? Maybe somebody was trying to tell you something..
I've used Motul, Silkolene, Bel-Ray, and Maxima... I like the the Silkolene better because it seems to fling just a little less, but they are all good products.
