Who changes their own tires?

The yellow dot indicates the lightest part of the tire and should be aligned with the valve stem.
180º and you'll be using a ton of extra lead.

I had always heard the yellow dot was the heavy spot, even in tech school, but after looking it up, I see it's the opposite.
Fortunately I've never had a problem, or no more than 2 or 3 small weights per wheel.
I have rotated the yellow dot on the rim a quarter turn to get one to balance before, and with only one weight after.
I learned something new, Thankyou...and to quote 'just because you've been doing something a long time...doesn't mean you've been doing it right' lol
