Oh! I forgot to mention! I'm tucked down looking through the windscreen at about a buck 75 and the FI light comes on! I'm thinking, Shhheeeeit I'm toast! I'm in the middle of nowhere at 1/4 the speed of sound! (whatever, we were Zippin' Ok?)
Turns out I had a granola bar under the hump that bounced around and fell onto the battery! It has a Mylar wrapper and may have shorted the battery for a second causing the FI light to come on. At the next stop I turned the bike off and turned it back on and the light went out.
Whew!

Too bad for the ZX14 rider....that really sucks.
Those are some really great Pic's you guys took. I hope I can make it down there to ride with you guys some day. Sorry to here about the fallen rider.
