aaahhhh, nothing like having a jacked up PC....

The ride was so worth having to deal with the elements. Although, I can only imagine how good it will be on a nice warm sunny day. There were so many places to stop and just stare at the view or take pictures. I will definiatly make this ride a few times this summer and start exploring those backroads...with a GPS :o)
anyhow...Thanx Warren, for dealing with my egerness to ride and for coming out to play in the cold.  I can't wait for the 7th to make this ride again!!!

You two are either truly nuts, or just sick of "no riding"...I'm cold just looking at the pics! Brrrr....

Hurry up May 7th...Mike and I are thinking this will be an overnighter for us...we'll head up toward Winchester on Friday night, then head home Saturday night...

Looks like a great ride Warren...thanks to Paul too, for firming up the plans...

Also, Martin mentioned earlier that he would be willing to host someone overnight at his place in Winchester.

Thanks Warren! That's not too far, but just far enough that we won't be able to make "take off time" unless we leave at 4 a.m.! We'll be staying overnight near Winchester...

I was considering driving down the night before as well. What do you guys think about trying to get a group rate at a hotel? We could do a late dinner and some drinks after the trip up/down/over depending on where everyone is coming from, then just crash at the hotel. I'm coming from Baltimore so I'm looking at 90 minutes to 2 hours to get there. I was thinking of leaving around 4 or 5'ish since I will be going the opposite as all the rush hour traffic. What do you guys think?

Too hard for me to commit to anything with kids, Altec. We'll likely not know our final plans 'til just before we leave!

But, I know there should be other MD and maybe some NC guys that might be up for it...

If you leave at 4-5pm the night before you'll probably be OK on the commute with the exception of a possible backup on 340 as you come up on Harpers Ferry. 2 hours is about right on the time estimate.

It's about a 90 minute drive for me. I am flying back from Chicago that day (Friday), so I won't be up there until late Friday night.

See ya all there!!

Our ride date is getting closer! This one has the potential to be our biggest Busa ride in the mid-atlantic area yet. I would love to see 30 Busas at this event. Geezzz, if that happens we'll never get past the picture part of the ride.
