Just as I got home tonight I hit the milestone. Thinking about getting something nice for it over the winter but sure what yet.

I was thinking something a bit more conservative. Where that might look great on one turning 20 or even 25, on one turning 50 augmentations like that might look out of place. Maybe just a nice gold chain or some sprockets. It is a 05 LE without much done to it but regular maintenance since I got it new. A daily commuter to Boston that has its share of bruises to prove it. Chain and sprockets are original and in good shape. I did the basics way back when, HID, TRE, slip-ons that got trashed when hit, braided brake lines. I don't think I'm ready to turn it over to GIXERHP for a full facelift yet.

How about a new seat? Corbin?
I have a trunk and saddlebags and like that I can get groceries and not have to carry my Helmet, Jacket, and gloves into stores.

How many miles on your tires? Time for a change? I like my Dunlop Q3's Went with a 190/55 and like that change too. Made in USA.

Are those ^^^ conservative enough for you?

Good job turning 50K.

Get rid of that ugly old TRE and take her out for a nice day of dyno time with an ECU flash.

Some interesting ideas, thanks Seat and ECM flash might be nice. Tires are fresh this fall, got them on for a weekend ride that almost happened. Would have to see the bags on her (do these make me look fat?) to know if I like that one. I'll keep looking for ideas and spring will be here soon.

Suspension rebuild or upgrade.

A few years ago when my 99 Blackbird had 77K I replaced the fork springs. According to the shop manual they were in spec as far as measurement, but I went ahead and replaced them with just new OEM I had on the shelf. Wow- Huge difference.

My 02 Busa has 38K and suspension upgrade will be at the top of the list.

Spring soon? It's not even winter yet - just because I have 6 inches of snow on the ground now with 3 - 8 inches
Forecast for tonight doesn't mean it's getting it out of its system. Probably going to be a long winter like last year.
