Biggest thing no matter what tire size you go with if you stretch your wheelbase make sure you upgrade your rear shock spring to compensate for it. Stock spring on a Gen 1 is setup for a 185 lb roughly rider size. Longer you go the more leverage the swingarm has so the stiffer the spring you have to go with. I only have a 190 rear tire but would have no problems running a 200 if I choose to, here is a pic of my Gen 1 stretched just over 5", with stretch, lowered 1 1/2" and with my weight being around 230 lbs I needed close to 1000 lb/in spring rate for my setup.

That is also one of the upgrades I'm making:beerchug:. I went with the 1400lbs. capacity heavy duty spring and I only weigh 215lbs. Thompsonscustomcycles.com is who I purchased my stretching setup through and boy was it worth the money:satisfied:. I got the swingarm, RK chain, brakeline, spring, chain guard, and Vortex sprockets all for a little over 1300 bucks but you can create your own package to suit your financial needs. I can't wait to put everything I bought on my bike. Of course I made probably another $1000 to 1500 in upgrades (once you start it's hard to stop):banghead:. I'll post pics when my baby comes home from the doctor...lol:laugh:.

Thanks Bro. your bike looks sweet. Do you have any issue with tire rubbing chain? How many inches is your stretch and how much you drop her?

Thanks. The arm is 2-4 and there about 3/4 inch left to go back if I want to. So about 2 1/4 inches over. I actually raised the back up a little because the tire rubbed a little when I had my wife on the back. So I have it set in the second from the top hole on my roaring toyz five hole lowering links. The front is lowered two inches. I have no problems with the chain rubbing the tire or swingarm and I didn't really grind off anything other than the paint and maybe a little dust from the aluminum.

Mine is stretched about 10-10.5" and lowered and I have 1400lb spring with 200 rear. Only thing I had to do was trim the chain cover. I've got dunlop sport max frt and rear.

mine is about 7 over, lowered a bit, and no stock undertail at all. Will touch the tag a bit with a passenger on bumps (combined we are about 300lbs)
