Spring Bash ~ April 28-30

Sounds like most of the people who have attended in the past are from the east coast. I would love to attend and brind some of the midwest org members with. KS bug I might be crazy enough to ride out with you or we could pull a trailer behind my crew cab dually. How about it midwest riders? GSXTacy,WWJD,fastbusa,OMSLAW,billbell,usmcbusa,cmap,pward,what do you think?

Jinkster, there will be no excuse for your not being at the Bash, tell work and wifey your sick Granpa needs you.  You still have to get your tatoo, haha.

Zukracer, keep up the good work organizing, I've been following the posts and at least 3/4 seem to be going for the last weekend in April so Jeremy and I vote we finalize the date now so plans can be made, and everyone can get wired while waiting.  Also suggest consider bad weather date 2 weeks later just in case!!!

V-Man, thanks for the info you sent, we'll talk live later and I'll tell you my possible plans.  I'm up for a Blood  Mt. run but can we quicken it up a little to and from???

Really can't wait till April to meed up with the regulars and hope we can have a great turnout, anyone reading about the Bash is welcome, the more the merrier.  

p.s.  Maybe someone (Zuk) should contact the fine folks at the Phillips and secure a  block of rooms, and most important, how do we get the BRAT BURGERS?

I say we go ahead and nail down the date as well for the last weekend in April. I'll call up and talk to Mrs. Phillips tomorrow sometime and let her know we are coming back up there, see what she can do, etc.

We need to get in contact with Hooken to see if they are making it down for this one. I think the spring ones are usually easier for him and his wife to make it to, just have to see if they can make the trip down.

Lets get a roll call going, sound off here if you are going to be coming, I.E. willing to call and commit to a room at the hotel in the coming week or so.

Tell her to ride with you!! My fiance got mad as heck during the fall bash b/c I didn't let her go with me. She rode the time between the bashes and she loved it. She told me this time she is going it will be our pre-honeymoon. (Getting married in may)

Nah my wife hates bikes but as far as letting me go really not up to her will be more up to work. Not sure how much vacation or psl I will have by then from work. Good thing about April is we are usually kina slow on delivering aircraft first part of year.

Blood Mountain is an all day ride. Even if you went straight there and back it would take the better part of a day.

I'm going to call up there and see if we can block off some rooms and if they'll cut any deals or whatever for us. Doubt they'll deal but never know, we've filled their place up a few times now, I'm sure she'll remember us

Dont get me wrong, its a nice motel and if you are good with sleeping on a slight angle (dependin on the room) its all good. Definately better than the CROT for accomodations

I have never done this before but sounds like fun to me. Depends on work, but I would like to go.Will have to see when the dates are set and see what happens at work. Would be nice to meet some of the people from here.
