Most if not all has done it. Some get lucky and some don't. I think you did the right thing by pulling over. Maybe, just maybe those cops that were coming to see who you were would've of been waiting down the line if you ran....then it's a "game changer". You go from points to jail and a whole bunch of other stuff that I'm sure a lawyer would tell you about.

Better to stop and walk away to play another day. JMO

I got pulled over in Oh. I was doing 130 on the freeway took the exit. The cop followed 3 blocks then pulled me over. Long story short and 3 cruisers later they told me to go home I was done for the nite. No ticket.

One of my best friends is both a cop and the owner of an R1. From his mouth is state cops have ego problems,local cops will make your life hell if you make theirs hell. If someone runs or lies to him about speeding or running a light he throws the book at them where as If they just man up half the the time it's a warning or a no points ticket. Respect earns respect.
