I have been looking into these pistols and seem to remember that someone here owns one. I was hoping to get feedback and opinions on how you like it and how it fires. For me it would be a conceal weapon.

Thanks in advance.

I could have swore there were some LC9 owners here... Maybe i need a pic to get attention... hmmm

I have the LCP and a friend of mine bought the LCR. Both are very nice pistols!!!
His LCR has the Crimson Trace grips and I believe its worth the price in getting. I have shot it once and I can tell you this is a nice little gun. Because of the light weight, it has a real kick even with light .38 loads.
But both are obviously not meant for constant range use anyway.
The only reason I went with the LCP is the size of it. I can carry it all day in a holster in my jeans front pocket or ankle holster, and almost forget its there.
The revolver has some thickness to it and IMO seems to be a outside the waist band carry. He has his in an Uncle Mikes ankle holster.
As a secondary back-up carry gun, you cant go wrong!!

I carry the KelTec PF-9 Its a little smaller and lighter . I waited to buy mine and it has been 100% reliable as are my other 4 , 380 and 32 KelTecs.
Another good low priced 9mm is the Bersa 9mm its little bigger but still easy to carry and very reliable. It Is one of the best like of the Bersa line. Kahr CW-9 also well liked but expensive.

Both are discussed here Bersa Chat Forum - The Front Page

I've been able to track down a lot of reviews on the LC9, they are getting more positive reviews than i had anticipated. We have a gun store with an indoor range and they will rent guns for 20$, and that can be negotiated if you are really looking to spend. Gah why do i have so little money and so many wants... :p

i just bought a Karr 380 and it is just very very accurate out to about 20 yards. The other thing..if u don't already know this...the type of ammunition u use will have a big impact on the type of hurt u leave on somebody. There is some serious damage that can be had with some of these rounds these days.
Take a look at the Diamondback 380 out of Florida...illegal yet in nazi California. There is a great gun site called Gunblast that reviews alot of weapons and see what he says about the different guns you are looking at.
