Pming, Conversations And Other Nebulous Board Functions.

I've searched til my Bayou has turned Blue and I can't find out how to PM someone. Then there's conversations, are they the same as PMs...??? I figured out how to start a thread and post, but I would like to know how to PM. At one time years ago, I knew how to do it, but it's been ages...
Can someone refresh my memory on this..??
