Who's going to Myrtle Beach Bike Week May 7-16?

I know bikers of all kinds will always go, but is there still an "Official" Bike week? I have a friend who lives there who said the city has been tryin to do away with bike week for years. They claim the arrests, accidents, and leftover trash have gotten out of hand. This is also what led to the helmet law within Myrtle Beach city limits a couple years ago.
