Galveston did not hold up very well. My Prayers for all those people. It is BLAZING HOT in Corpus Christi. Talk about escaping one, we have not had a single drop. Feels like a sauna outside, the wind is blowing another 15 degrees of heat. They said that the front coming in is what saved us, which made Ike turn up north. There was a teen that was pulled out to sea after being on the jetties here. They still have not found his body yet, this happened yesterday @ 3pm so it does not look good. Hopefully everyone is fine in Houston, Galveston, etc and loss of life is extremely low. Buildings can always be rebuilt.
