OK guys, we are shutting the base down as of 1500 today until next Tuesday. Everything is as ready as can be so we will see what happens next. I am going home and will still be lurking as long as we have power. Maybe we will get lucky and this one will hit above or below us. Look at a map and find Corpus Christi. I am on the north side of the bay in Ingleside.

Yeah, this one will hit a lot closer to us than Katrina did. According to it's projected path, us here is southwestern La. can expect some pretty decent wind gusts and foul weather. If she starts to make a northerly track, then it will hit us for sure.
