OK, The bug is catching up. I want a TURBO for elenor
smile.gif

Well can the experts suggest me a Turbo Kit for the Hayabusa that fits easily, a kit that does not require me to change stock parts ... a kit that will not fry up poor elenor.

I'm not power greedy... but I need a TURBO.

Sorry about all the ignorance in this issue

...Oh yeah! I forgot to mention... a kit that is Custom made to fit a Hayabusa... including all the required parts and stuff

three golden rules :

a) Better spend 1000 extra , than try to buy cheap.

b) Let the specialist do the job.

c) choose the Turbo Kit by first listening to your selve
(how capable you are to drive so much Hp)

Because driving a Turbo on the fastest street bike
askes for excellent driving skills.

Last :
There are so many Turbo Kits available.
I recommend MC Xpress with a Mitsubishi TD04HL , just because i have that one and it's power is awesome .....

i think everyone here goes ghetto and motorhead on sh.org sells them. Stage 1 good for i think 300 hp for about 3995 and he may install them. Man get you some motor work done. Cheaper more reliable and undetectable to the guy next to you who just bet you 100 bucks hes gonna whip your as

I just got back from having my ghetto kit installed by motorhead. I haven't had it out yet. Today will be its maiden voyage. And about finding a kit where you won't have to modify any stock parts is impossible. I don't know of any kits where atleast a few things have to be modified.

you're only gonna get about 280hp max on pump gas for the stage one. With race gas maybe up around 300. You really should install bigger injectors or an extra injector if you want to run up around 300 hp.

rods are good for around 320hp and pistons around 400hp.

I also have a ghetto kit (stage 1) with aquamist WI and it pulls real hard. I run it on this crappy 91 octane (california) gas. You really don't have to mod that much at all. I read that fstbusa has 270hp at 7.5lbs.

well it put down on the dyno 260 hp

dennis said this shinko tire costs me 10 hp on the dyno cuz it gets so sticky and has a wide contact patch that it sticks to the drum and causes a loss of 10 hp.

he says with a stock tire it will put down 270 hp.

hope to find out how that feels today

For the money and CUSTOMER SERVICE, you will be hard pressed to find a better combination that the Ghetto and Motorhead!!! Really there is just not a lot of difference between the basic kits, it is the customer service that makes the difference. Just my 2 cents...

I have a Ghetto with the 5th injector set-up...worth about 340 RWHP. A darn good street bike.

you hafta do some mods to your bike with ANY kit. Fom trimming plastic to modding fuel pump and oil pans they all require some work. My advice to you is to schedule time for Dennis to install and tune a kit for you. Do it in the warmer months so you actually test ride it when you get it right there in Cleveland.

You won't be disappointed.

I went with the Velocity Kit installed by Kevin at TotalKaos Performance. Mine has been on the bike over a year and I have had ZERO problems. 255.1 hp at just 6lbs of boost. Its not the kit you choose that will make you happy, its the installation and performance that puts a smile on your face.

Your right I forgot about having to trim the plastics and mod the fuel pump and drill the oil pan. It is really not that bad but you are right there mods.

100% right.

This man knows the game.

Thanks for all the insights guys... but are you not forgetting something? I live in india... so I can get my bike to the people you have mentioned in your replies. I have to Buy the kit, and then get it fit by my mechanic here!

So now what have you people gotta say

I suggest that you forget it,You are about to get into something that you'll regret,The power would be nice, but where are you going to use it ? Who are you going to get to tune it? and last.... Who will do the install? where are you going to get the spare parts that YOU WILL need? If you were in the states, I would say go for it,but what are you going to do when you need a part thats got to come from the states? and are there credible tuners their with a dyno that fully understand correct air/fuel ratios, exhaust temps, fuel tables, timing curves, and the list goes on. If you've got the money to ship your bike around the world, wait for months AGAIN, and then face the woes of waiting for parts, then go for it.Lets face it, you just like me, are in a 3rd world country, with that I think, lies you answer.NJ.

Not true that everyone goes to Ghetto. It is a good kit, but you will find a little of all the kits on the site. For the HP stick with stage 1 kits of any kind.

personally i've always thought i would go big bore before I'd do a turbo.. I'm happy with the stock power mostly.. but it would be nice to suprise some of the -nener nener-'s that wanna see how close they can stay to a stock busa.

oh, and being able to keep up with TNJ, and Benzbusa at the strip would be a hoot too.. hehe.

Big bores are good...Got one of my partners running one...But HP vs $ you can't beat a trubo...If you go with a basic kit and whoever does the install knows what he's doing 0 problems...

You do have a very valid point there NJ....

Now you have got me thinking
