There is a company selling plastics on Ebay with several thousand feedbacks on the plastics and they are overwhelmingly "good" (like 99.8%)...

The company is in HongKong and the parts are shipping from there as well

Example is the ZX Kawi bikes.. Full set $350 $225 shipping (14 pieces?)

This may be an isolated incident, When he contacted them they were very suprised to hear about it. Like it was a fluke. He told me he paid $900.00 So I would hope it was a fluke.

$575.00 for a full set, If they fit that is a good deal.

99.8%... That's really good rating. Do you have that link or know seller info? That would be a nice search option to add to E-Bay. "seller feedback from highest to lowest"

Update

He did get a full refund and was able to get him a set of OEM Plastics, Didnt get his custom pain job but said his plastics matched up perfectly.

He called me the other morning and said, I just wanted to let you know I rode my Bike last night after I got it put together ( 23 Degrees at night ) Thats how us ZX14 guys roll.

My Response

If I had a ZX14 I would ride it at night too so no one could see me on it, also you ZX14 guys have to ride every chance you get, You never know when its going to start again.

so about 30 mins before reading this post on 12/3 a friend ordered a set of the blue/sticker set for his 05 Busa...i was :cussing::cussing:

Long story short, he gets them and we look at them, they dont look THAT bad..a few nicks in the finish (looks like shipping damage). so we sit down to do hang 'em on the bike tonight...6 hours later its done. They take A LOT of work to get lined up. But i am one for details on stuff like this...Ill re align the fenders/hood on a car for days to get all the gaps correct.

I give them a thumbs up for what was paid and expected from them.

Will try and get pics later in the week before he leaves for Miami on Tuesday.

Man that's awful! At least he got his money back to get some proper fairings.

Sorry your buddy had such a bad experience. Glad to see he got a refund.

I would generailze "Hong Kong", as having bad products, but the fact that he ordered through a company here as a middle man tells me something. They probably found the cheapest set they could find to make the most profits for themselves. My reasoning for this is, I have a buddy that bought a set straight from China thought turned out to be just awesome. The customer service was good, only hindered by the language barrier, but the set lined up nicely, no trash, and the color scheme/paint was definitely on point. I will say that he paid a lot more than your buddy did, and that might have played a factor as well. In closing though, I would hesitate to purchase a set from China, as long as it was directly from the company there. They don't benefit from us over here being unhappy, since we are most likely their biggest customer.
