Well a lot of things have changed here since the first of the year. Lost my full time job that I had been at for almost 13 years. So I went full time at my part-time job and have gotten promoted so that part is good but not making the money I used to and wife is shutting down her day care and the end of this month she has another job already lined up so things aren't bad here just timing is a bit off for us to make this trip I wish I could make it but its not in the cards for this time

We're getting all of our duckies in a row. I think the last one just fell into line - the pet sitter. Now we get go plan the route. There are so many things and places we haven't that could be considered "on the way", we have a lot to chose from. Just a few: Cooperstown; Gettysburg; Mammoth Caverns; Adirondacks (even though we can see them, we haven't ever driven through them), etc. Then there are some places that are only a little out of the way. Decisions, decisions, decisions.

I can't wait!

Right now it looks like about 3000 mile round trip plus whatever we ride while there. We are still working out the trip logistics and departure/arrival dates.
