I transport aluminum tubing at high speed. Some parts of the job are great, some parts not so much. The high speed aluminum tubing transport industry sucks overall, and the company I work for is no longer the leader in its segment of the industry, as it was when I accepted the job offer.
Fortunately, or unfortunately depending on how one views it, my wife and I have been successful enough outside my career with other professional, business, and investment interests to make it nonsensical to quit and relocate for a different employer in this industry. I go to work, focus on safety, and enjoy the front row seat as things melt down around me. It's like a circus without elephants.
