Day started just as we expected, rain. 150 miles of rain. Luckily, no wind to speak of, but rain rain rain and did I mention rain?

I checked the forecast, and yep, sure enough rain.

We finished about 500 km today, there was maybe 60 miles of dry road.

I found out one good thing, if you time this right, as your buddy takes a huge drink of milk, it WILL come out of his nose. Fast.
As I was heading to the head, I turned to him and said I was heading to the underwater range to squeeze off a few rounds.

He only choked for a minute or 2. Mission accomplished.

Sorry for the wet, heading out myself on the 30th for a 3-4,000 miler into the great northwest and so far I've been real lucky riding up there during the last week of June and the first week of July. On tour about three years ago I literally followed the storm by about a half day throughout the entire 13 day tour. Wet roads and even wet cars and riders coming at me but I never actually rode in the rain myself. Couldn't believe it! Usually though, I count on having at least one day of wet as I ride hiway 1 and 101 most tours, one way or another.
