Ruger LCP .380... Just toss it in a pocket...jacket pocket or pants, it's that small, cost you about 300 bux. If you decide against that idea, I like small of the back, under your jacket or a really long shirt. Problem with small of the back is when riding our shirts can blow up in the wind and expose the gun (felony brandishing) if not wearing a jacket. Typically if you're gonna need to use it, you'll be off the bike pumpin gas, or someplace parked hangin out. I say this because I assume you aren't gonna road rage while riding, nor pull a drive by on a busa...so it doesn't necessarily need to be accessible while on the bike, but just mainly so you don't get robbed while pumpin gas and such. That's really my only concern. I figure we ride expensive machines that are easily sellable on the black market and highly desired but not easily afforded. Sooo, I figure carrying is cheaper than full coverage insurance, at least in my case!
Check out Fobus paddle holsters too. Very comfortable imo.
I'd rather be judged by 12...then carried by 6!
2nd pic is actually a Kel-Tec inside a fobus paddle, but same exact design as the ruger. Actually I'm pretty sure ruger bit iff of the design after the patent expired...but you get the idea.
3rd pic is a Sig P238...one of my favorites but a couple hundred more expensive and heavier. But, same idea as the other "mouse" guns or ccw guns.
I have a question without going offtopic:
is it legal to carry in just a shoulder holder over a shirt, or is this deemed brandishing as well?
I can't imagine a LEO or anyone going crazy over a piece thats formally sealed in a shoulder holster..
I've got my ccw, carry all the time, and honestly don't know the answer to that- I've never owned a shoulder holster (although I want a horizontal one.)
edit: from what I'm reading online, its jurisdictional? subject to where you live?
