Chain And Sprockets

I realize this is and old topic but this is my first chain and sprocket maintenence on the Busa. I am going to leave the size of the sprockets stock, I do not beat it to death but I do occasionally light up the rear and give it a thrashing. The stock set up has served well for many miles but I'm always interested in learning and improving the quality of the Busa. Any input is appreciated along with the name of anyone associated with this web site that I can purchase the parts through. I would like to support the business of the people who do all the work around here if possible. Thank You

If you want to keep the stock feel then 17/40 steel sprockets is the way to go. <a href="http://www.sprocketspecialists.com/html/main.shtml">Sprocket Specialists<a> and <a href="http://www.afamusa.com">AFAM<a> are 2 pretty good places for the sprockets. Any of the high tensile strength chains will do you right with EK and DID x-ring chains as a couple of the more popular ones. Lots of places have them for sale. And please refresh our memories with pics of your bike!

Oh, and after reading a lot of this type of thread and seeing the recommendations I think I'd go with EK X-ring chain.
