Busa vs. R1 in twisties

After owning my Busa for 9 months I sold my R1 - I never used it!

Speed in the bends is down to the rider, not the bike. Not many riders (even equal ones) can get near the limits of a modern bike - even a Busa.

On the last track day I was comfortably beating R1s, Blades and a race prepped RC51 on a handling circuit - it's the rider not the bike, and I'm not especially quick.

grand said it, apples/oranges. Rad Greaves played hell in Mid Ohio formula extreme against the squirts, see that? Only thing I'd suggest is get your twistie shifting down PAT 'cause he's going to attack the turn much more aggressively than you can but if you come out of it in 1 or 2 you're gonna be up his azz or past him before the next one. Don't even think about it if you lower the bike, my buds showed me up BAD at Deal's Gap---I was 3" down---not a competition. Stock Busas wasted me. I wish I'd have taken the 89 gixxer up there...hehehe...
