Changing to a 190/55/17 in the back
I want the same gearing so i figured 1 extra tooth in the back, does that sound right?

Only a 3 percent difference. If you really want to stay the same you would need a 44 or 45 rear sprocket. If it were me and you havent done it, I would drop one in the front. Would more than make up for the bigger tire.

Don't have to go down in the front. Suggest trying the tire change alone you may Love it I enjoyed how it rode, leaned in & took power the most. If stock 18/43 gearing at 2.39 ratio, 44 tooth (1 up) will put you at 2.44 which should do what you want 45 tooth is questionable since want the same & 46 is a handful.
