Your bike collection is amazing bro , and that Kawasaki is spectacular !! Kawasaki are killing it in what bikes they are coming up with , if Suzuki was producing such a varied array of visionary machines , I would be so proud and excited , I would be yelling praise on the top of my lungs !! I truly hope the Gen 3 comes along as all we wish for to even things up a bit .

I've attempted to educate some of the "car nuts" I've worked with (mechanics) and when I explain the top speeds and aerodynamics etc, their eyes glaze over, I've been called a liar when I've said my GSXR1000K6 did 155kmh in 1st gear!
Absolute ignoramuses, but nothing surprises me with the car fanatics lol

Rode the Burgman on Saturday with my friend on his VFR800. We did a local run to Red Rock Canyon, we visited Bonnie Springs one final time. It was scheduled to be officially closed on Sunday, March 17, 2019. We also met up with another buddy and did a little drone flying. My buddy was supposed to accompany us on his Concourse 14, but he got a flu bug.

Yeah I get that . . . . BUT the guys I worked with in the past are the ones I was referring to. Car mechanics in general are not into two wheels at all, I'm a minority among their ranks.
It's a funny thing, when I get into a car, I feel confined and vulnerable, never wanting to speed . . . but on a bike . . . different story!

Rode the SV650 on yesterday with a few buddies, including my friend with the VFR800. There were 5 bikes. Some made it all the way to Death Valley, but my buddy couldn't do an all day ride so I broke off with him about halfway. Some of the photos were not taken by me.

While I was parked up , my mate Big Matt drove past in his car and pulled up for a look at the bike . He was shocked at how much better it looked in the flesh , than with some of the recent pics I'd sent him . So I guess that's good , I am blinded by my love for L2 to see any faults I guess ? Hahaha , anyway , look forward to your ride that you guys have planned , a real beauty !!

YES Kiwi , the last ride a week before swingarm swapover was to Delamere . That is past Second Valley and Rapid Bay on the way to Cape Jervis , but you turn left once you get to Delamere , and then you got an absolutely wild road , with sweepers and roller coaster crests and more , all 50 km of it to Victor Harbour . Dont worry bro , I will show you somethings when you get you ass over here !! We saw a cop bike on that day on that road after things had cooled down speed wise , and he waved at me hello , that was a surprise , I tell you !!
