I doubt any of us could talk normally, if we were going to be seen by 111 million people. At the biggest event in the history of mankind.

You got that right. My band played for a USO Bob Hope show in Viet Nam , and about 30,000 troops were there. I could hardly play my hands were shaking so hard. Of course 99% of the crowd were holding M16s.:laugh:

In my opinion, if you sing the actual notes to the song, you have a decent chance of getting it right. When you add flourishes, you risk losing the words and the song. Just my $0.02.
