I probably couldn't do it perfect either but when someone is a professional and getting paid to do it it should be right.

Me neither, but if you asked me ahead of time I could. It should be taken as an honor to sing the anthem - not something you don't take seriously.

If they would just sing it and not try to hit 6000 notes in the process the might just get it right.

Just sing it like it is supposed to be sung without all the hoooplah

we are all human and can make mistakes at will
well at least most are, unlike Rubb we havnt figured him out yet :poke:

I doubt any of us could talk normally, if we were going to be seen by 111 million people. At the biggest event in the history of mankind.

what is the biggest crowd you have spoken in front of?

I think if I were a pro and gonna sing it in front of the Super Bowl, I'd practice it a few times first....

She probably wouldn't have made the mistake if she hadn't tried so hard to embellish it...

At the biggest event in the history of mankind.

The superbowl is the biggest event in the history of mankind?

I'm sure even you could think of recent events, using any criterion you choose, that are bigger than the superbowl.

cheers
